【Abstract] Objective To construct the tone burst auditory brainstem responses (TB-ABR) wave Vintensity- latency function curve of different frequencies in infants with normal hearing , and to provide a reference for the determination of clinical TB-ABR response threshold. Methods Forty infants (80 ears) with normal hearing were selected for this study. The age distribution was from 3 to 12 months and the mean age was 7.2±2.8 months. Five different stimulus intensities of 70, 60, 50,40,and 30 dB nHL were selected for TB-ABR testing at four frequencies of TB-500 Hz, TB-1 000 Hz,TB-2000 Hz, and TB-4000 Hz. Wave V latency of each frequency at different intensities were recorded and statistically analyzed using SPSS 26. 0 to establish the intensity-latency functional model for each frequency. Results The differences in wave V latencies at different frequencies were statistically significant (P<0.05). The difference in wave V latencies of at different intensities were statistically significant (P<0.05). The differences in wave V latencies at different threshold intensity level were statistically significant (P<0.05). The intensity-latency functional models at different frequencies were TB-500 Hz:y=-0.09x+16.59;TB-1 000 Hz: y=-0.07x+13.73;TB-2 000 Hz: y=-0.05x+10.61;TB-4000 Hz: y=-0.04x+9.44,respectively. Conclusion The wave V latency of TB-ABR gradually shortens with the increase of the frequency and intensity. The intensity-latency functional model of TB-ABR at different frequencies and intensities established in this study can provide a reference for clinical practice.
